Picking up new messages

Call your phone from a pushbutton phone.

When you hear the greeting, enter (W), followed by your

security code.

You hear a long confirmation beep and the greeting stops.
Following the number of messages recorded, you'll hear the
new messages.

If there are no new messages, the phone stands by for you to
enter a control code.

To do other operations, enter the control code within 20

seconds (see the table below). To quit, hang up the phone.

If you forgot to turn the answering function on

Call your phone and let it ring 10 times until it answers. Then the
answering function automatically turns on.

Notes

• If you have not recorded the greeting, the phone does not answer.
• If you enter a wrong security code three times, the line will be disconnected.

Tip

Cut off the Remote Control Card from the supplied Quick Start Guide and carry
it with you to see how to operate from an outside phone.
