Note
"Erase ???" appears when the track was recorded or

edited on another deck and is against protected
erasure. To erase the track, press ENTER/YES while

"Erase ???" appears.

To erase all the tracks

You can erase the entire MD contents (all
titles and tracks) all at once.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until

"MD" appears in the display.

Press MENU / NO while MD is

stopped.

"Edit Menu" appears.

Turn the jog dial until "All Erase ?"

appears, then press ENTER/YES.

"All Erase??" appears.

Press ENTER/YES.

"Complete!!" appears for a few seconds.

All the tracks, track names and the disc
name are erased.

To undo the Erase Function

Use the Undo Function immediately after you
erased all the tracks (see page 53).

To erase a portion of a
track (A-B Erase Function)

You can specify a portion within a track and
erase the portion with ease. It is convenient
when erasing unnecessary sections after
recording satellite or radio broadcasts.

Eg.: Erasing a portion of track A.
