Playing a tape

You can plav any typo of tape, TYPE I
(normal), TYPE II (CrO:) or TYPE IV (metal).
The deck automatically detects the tape type.

Press = PUSH of the front cover
and insert a recorded tape into deck.

With the side you want

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until

"TC" appears.

Press DIR MODE on the remote

side or to play both sides.

Press O (or TAPE on the

remote),

Press <l (or TAPE <ll> on the remote
again) to play the rever.se side. The tape
starts playing.

The deck stops automatically after playing both
sides five times.

Press ^ PUSH.

Adjust the volume Press VOLUME +/- (or

VOL -t-/- on the remote).

Tips

• Pressing TAPE <!!> on the remote while the

power is off automatically turns on the power and
starts tape playback if there is a tape in the deck
(One Touch Play).

• You can switch from another source to the tape

deck just by pressing TAPE

on the remote

(Automatic Source Selection).

• When you want to reduce the hiss noise in low-

level high-frequency signals, press DOLBY NR on
the remote before step 4 so appears.
