To tune in a station with a weak signal
Press TUNING/ PLAY MODE on the remote
repeatedly until "MANUAL" appears in step
3, then press TUNING +/- (or (l<T<l/t>C>ll on
the remote) to tune in the station.
To change the preset number
Start over from step 2.
Tip
The preset stations are retained for about two days
when you disconnect the mains lead or a power
failure occurs.
To change the AM tuning interval
The AM tuning interval is factory-preset to 9 kHz
(10 kHz in some areas). To change the AM tuning
interval to 10 kHz (or 9 kHz), tune in any AM
station first, then turn off the povs er. While holding
down TUNING
+,
turn the power back on. When
you change the interval, the AM preset stations will
be erased. To reset the interval, repeal the same
procedure.
Note
The preset stations are canceled when you
disconnect the power cord or if a power failure
occurs for half a day.
