Resetting the digital security code
You normallv do not not'd to sot the digital soourity code. It is assigned to vour base
unit and handset automatically when you charge the battery pack tor the first time
(see page ID.
Ho^vever, in the \'erv unlikeh' e\ ent that vein suspect another cordless telephone
using the same security code, you can change the code manually.
Press (PGM).

Pess (W)-
"ENTER SECURITY" appears,
and you hear a confirmation
beep.
Enter a three-digit number
between 001 to 999 using the
dialing keys.
ENTER SECURITY
999
Press (PGM).
You hear a long confirmation
beep and the display goes off.
Immediately replace the handset
on the base unit.
You hear a long confirmation
beep and the phone stores the
new code.
Note
When thè Battery pack in the handset is completely discharged, or is remor'ed from the handset,
the digital security code will be erased.
In this case, charge the battery pack. A new digital security code will be assigrred automatically.
Tips
• This procedure changes the secutity code in both the base unit and the handset.
• You can change the security code as often as desired.
