Unpacking and Assembling the Machine
The DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM is shipped from the factory with the wheels
dismounted from the axles. The following instructions will detail how to unpack the
machine, assemble the wheels to the axles, install the Tilt Bed, and assemble the
Collector Box.
Tools & Supplies Needed:
Flat blade screwdriver
Pliers
Hammer
Knife
Gloves
Eye protection
Metal shears
Parts supplied:
(1) Axle
(2) Side Collector Box Panels
(1) Front Collector Box Panel
(1) Rear Collector Box Panel
(1) Centrifugal Separator with attached vacuum hose
(1) Blower Outlet Hose Assembly
(2) Wheels (w/pre-lubricated bearings) and Tires
(1) Trailer Frame w/3 Support Legs w/Casters
(1) Tilt Bed
(1) Universal Hitch Plate
(1) each 7" and 8" Hose Adapter
Hearing Protectors
(1) Plastic Bag containing miscellaneous mounting hardware:
- (4) 5/16" x 3/4" Wing Screws
- (4) 5/16" x 2" Wing Screws
- (4) 5/16" x 1" Bolts
- (16) 5/16" Flat Washers
- (8) 5/16" Lock Washers
- (4) 5/16" Lock Nuts
- (1) Hitch Extender with 1/2" X 2" Bolt, Lock Nut & Washer
- (3) Clevis Pins
- (4) 3/4" Wheel Washers
- (2) Axle Cotter Pins
