Press the battery chamber release button.
This releases the lock and frees the cover.

Open the cover and load the battery, matching
the + and — markings on the battery with
those in the battery compartment.
#Take the battery out of the camera when it is
not to be used for a prolonged period of time.
#lt is best to always carry extra batteries for
worry-free shooting.
