14.0 Batch System Processing
If you have several trading systems to be evaluated each day, you can now build a
“batch” file that will load, run, and save the results of all your systems. It will open a
page in Microsoft Notepad that you can print.
Use the Batch pull down menu:
The menu choices are Run, Create, and Update. You must first create the batch file using
the Create option. You will get the following screen:
You choose from all your DFT files that you want to run in a batch mode and add them to
the right side of the screen using the Add button. If you make a mistake, you can select a
DFT file on the right side of the screen and use the Remove button.
If all you want is to run the systems and generate FNU files, then you do not need to se-
lect any of the options at the bottom of the screen. At this point, you would click the
Save button which brings up a screen to save the batch file name. However, most users
will want to see current positions, current Rank List, and Summary in a Notepad screen.
We recommend that you select all the options. When you check the Save Results File a
