Description
This test checks register level access to the CPLD for IPMC readable registers. It reads
all registers and checks for any possible error conditions that indicate a failure of the
CPLD logic. This tests uses the KCS interface for accessing the IPMC accessible
CPLD registers.
Failure impact
•
CPLD-00020003 diagnostic code results of failure to access the IPMC through the
KCS interface. The impact is loss of applications running on carrier host processor.
This impacts at least Ethernet functionality and command line interface.

CPLD-00020004 diagnostic code results of failure to access CPLD registers from
IPMC. The impact is failure of the board.

CPLD-00020007 diagnostic code results of failure to read CPLD register. The
impact is failure of the board.

CPLD-000202xx diagnostic code results of a reading of an error condition from
the CPLD. The register indicating the error is listed in the ‘xx’ of the diagnostic
code. The impact is failure of the board.
