Rear seat heating

̈ Switch on the ignition ( ୴ page 39).
Switching on seat heating
̈ Press upper switch position 1.
One red indicator lamp in the switch
comes on.
Switching off seat heating
̈ Press upper switch position 1 once
more.
The red indicator lamp in the switch
goes out.
Switching on rapid seat heating
̈ Press lower switch position 2.
Both red indicator lamps in the switch
come on.
Switching off rapid seat heating
̈ Press lower switch position 2 once
more.
Both red indicator lamps in the switch
go out.

2 Two indicator lamps on
(Rapid heating)
The seat heating automatically
switches to normal heating
mode after approximately
5 minutes.

1 One indicator lamp on
(Normal heating)
The seat heating automatically
switches off after approximately
30 minutes.

If one or both of the indicator lamps in the
seat heating switch are flashing, there is insuffi-
cient voltage available due to too many electrical
consumers are switched on. The seat heating
switches off automatically.
The seat heating will switch back on again
automatically as soon as sufficient voltage is
available.
