The YOUNG DSD can be powered off by a prolonged push on the front panel’s left
button (Fig. 1, 1). After a couple seconds the unit switches off, reducing its current
draw to zero.

It is also possible to put the YOUNG DSD in standby by the related key on the remote
control. In this case, the YOUNG DSD, while stopping operation as when it is switched
off by the front panel, will keep a minimum current consumption because the main
controller and the IR receiver will stay on, waiting for an activation command from the
remote control (another push on the standby key) or any action on one front panel
control.

Standby mode is indicated by a LED lit on the front panel (Fig. 1, 2).
