HOOKING UP A SUBWOOFER TO YOUR SYSTEM


1. Unplug the power to the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver.

2. Using RCA cables, connect one end to the

Pre Out

output marked on the rear of

the Receiver, the other corresponding end to your subwoofer.

3. Turn the subwoofer “ON”.

4. Re-connect the power to the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver and adjust the

volume level to suit you.

Please note the volume of the subwoofer is controlled by the volume control on the
receiver.

DIGITAL AUDIO CONVERTER (D.A.C) OPTION


If you chose the Digital Audio Converter (D.A.C.) option, additional inputs have been
installed in the back of the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver with corresponding “D1”,
“D2” & “USB” displays on the front of the unit. The D.A.C. is outfitted with two (2)
coaxial inputs, and one (1) USB input.

1. Connect an external source to the USB or either coaxial inputs.

2. Adjust the input on the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver by using the input button

on the front of the unit or by using the RC4 remote as outlined on page 10.
