Thank you for purchasing this Nexto Video Storage product.
Nexto Video Storage allows videographers to save footage from camcorders to a
hard drive, without using a computer. The camcorder can then be used to record
new data. NextoDI has optimized the performance of the Nexto Video Storage so
that data transfers from camcorders to Nexto Video Storage more quickly than to
other storage devices. Data stored on the Nexto Video Storage can later be copied
to a computer. Nexto Video Storage can also be used as a computer backup device.
Nexto Video Storage supports professional video cameras from many manufacturers,
including Sony and Panasonic (which use high speed PCI Express/PCMCIA flash
memory cards for HD video), and memory formats such as Compact Flash(CF), Secure
Digital(SD), SDHC, Multi Memory Card(MMC), Memory Stick(MS), and xD Picture Card.
Please read this manual before using the product. Follow operating instructions
carefully to avoid damage to the product, or personal injury. This guide assumes
that your Nexto Video Storage unit contains a properly formatted hard drive and
a charged battery. If this is not the case, refer to the later chapters on inserting
a hard drive and charging the battery.
