roubleshooting

The ACTION button is not responding

*Make sure to press ACTION in the middle of the button.

•Make sure the remote control is in DTV or NTSC mode.

No key operation (by the unit and/or

the remote control) Is effective.

Set the POWER button to OFF and then back to ON. Alternatively, turn
off the power, disconnect the power plug and then reconnect it. (The STB
may not be operating properly due to lightning, static electricity or some
other external factor).

D-VHS VCR is not responding

•Check that the AC power plug is securely plugged into the power outlet.

•Check that equipment is connected properly.

•Make sure it is a Panasonic D-VHS VCR.

D-VHS VCR does not record

Make sure STB is on.

VCR/S-Video VCR is not responding

•Check that the AC power plug is securely plugged into the power outlet.

•Check that equipment is connected properly.

•Make sure remote control is in VCR mode.

AC-3 decoder is not responding

•Check that the AC power plug is securely plugged into the power outlet.

•Check that equipment is connected properly.

Timer does not work

•Make sure the clock is set.
•Check to see whether the timers have overlapping times programmed.

•Check if the timer did not reset to default settings (antenna/cable mode

was changed).

the unit yourself. Refer servicing to qualified

personnel only.

send

it

prepaid,

adequately insured and preferably in the
original carton. Attach a postage-affixed

letter, detailing the complaint, to the outside of

the carton, DO NOT send the product to the

Executive or Regional Sales offices. They are
NOT equipped to make repairs.
