Tape Position Display
To find out the present tape position.
Tape position cannot be found for C-Cassette type and
tape of less than 60 minutes.

POSITION
Detect Tape Position.
Press TAPE POSITION.
DETECTING TAPE POSITION
“DETECTING TAPE POSITION”
is displayed only when first
cassette in.
It takes several seconds for
correct tape position to appear.
Indication is standard.

Return to normal
screen.
Press TAPE POSITION.
Zero Search
To quickly return to a specific tape counter location.

Display the Counter.
Press DISPLAY during
playback.

Press COUNTER
RESET at the
desired position.
Continue playback, rewind, or fast forward.

Press ZERO/1 MIN
in Stop nnode.
• The Combination VCR
will go into FF or REW
mode and stop at the
