Software InstaUation
^ Insert the supplied Setup disk into the floppy drive.
The CD-ROM Toolkit window will automatically appear.
“Read Me for Panasonic” File describes the information which is not mentioned in
this manual. Please read it when it is necessary.

Double click the “CD-ROM ToolKit Installer” icon.
The CD-ROM ToolKit Installer dialog will appear.
0 Click [ Continue
]. The following screen will appear.
CD-ROM ToolKit^“ Version XXX
This installer will place several files into your active System Folder. You should disable any virus
protection before proceecfing to avoid urxJesired warnings.
If you are using System 7.x, the files will be placed according to their function as fdbws;
• CD-ROM TooIKft^*^will be placed into the
Control Panels
folder.
• Foreign Rle Access and all Foreign RIe Translators will be placed into the
Extensions
folder.
• The CDT Remote^“ player will be placed into the
Apple Menu Items
folder, and will appear in your
Apple Menu upon successful completion of your installation.
Note: users of prior versions of
CD-ROM ToolKit^“ should manually remove the older CDT-Remote^*" desk accessory.
If you are using System 6.0x, rrx)st files will placed into your System Folder, and the remainder into
the “CD-ROM ToolKit^“ Extras" folder. System 6 users may wish to rmve the CDT Remote^“ application
from the “CD-ROM ToolKif^” Extras” folder to another area of their hard disk.
You must restart your computer for the installed software to take effect.
