SCSI ID Number and Terminator

SCSf ID number:

Each SCSI device connected to your computer system has an individual ID number (refer

to the respective manuals). Be sure that the CD-ROM SCSI ID number does not conflict
with another SCSI device connected to the computer system.
The factory setting of the player’s SCSI ID number is set to 5.

Terminator:

Set the Terminator switch ON or OFF according to the player’s condition.

ON:

when the player is connected to the computer system.

OFF:

when using independently as an audio player (power consumption can be

saved.) ( P. 28).

The factory setting is

ON.

Setting

Set the ID number switch (1 -3) or Terminator switch (4) ON/OFF by using a pointed object
like a pen, and referring to the table below (for ID number).
