Using the Player with Computer

After the software installation (i^ P. 19), you are ready to play game/photo/audio CDs.

Playing a CD-ROM

Notes:

• Some CD-ROMs are soundless.
• The computer sound of some CD-ROMs can be listened only through the PHONES

jack of the player. Connect your headphones or amplified speaker to the PHONES
jack of the player.

For best use of kodak’s Photo CDs, we recommend using two Apple Extensions:

QuickTime 1.5 or later and Apple Photo Access

This is available through reseller, on several on-line service and on AppleLink.

To view images stored on Photo CDs, use any program that can view PICT files in

conjunction with QuickTime.

To view and edit the images, you can use a specialized program such as Adobe’s Photo

shop.

Notes:

• QuickTime does not operate on some Macintosh such as Macintosh Plus, SE,

Classic, Portable and Powerbook 100.

• If you are using System 6.0.x, Photo CD can not be played without MultiFinder.

Playing an audio CD

Notes:

• To listen to the music, connect your headphones or amplified speaker to the

PHONES jack of the player.
