VERSA BIKE RACK INSTRUCTIONS
Assembly Of Rack

Begin assembly of rack by removing the rack
from the box and placing it on the floor with the
main rack assembly facing down and the yellow
reflector facing away from you.

Reassemble the release lever arm. Remove the
8mm bolt and nut from the release lever bracket.
Move the release lever arm into place while
being careful to keep the plastic washers in
place. Insert the bolt through the bracket and
the arm. Attach the nut and tighten it using the
Allen wrench provided to 50 +/-5 inch pounds.
DO NOT over tighten the nut. The release arm
must move freely.

Take the hitch bar assembly and position it so that
the pull pin is in line and engaged into the bottom
most hole on the larger plate. The bolts have been
assembled loose so that there is slop in the inter-
face to allow for assembly.

Straighten the plates, aligning the holes on
either side of the folding frame with the holes in
the hitch plate and insert the 14mm bolt.

ATTACH AND TIGHTEN

DISENGAGED
LEAVE THESE BOLTS UNTIGHTENED UNTIL
ASSEMBLY IS PROPERLY POSITIONED

Attach the lock washer and the locking nut and
tighten 70 +/-5 inch pounds. DO NOT over
tighten the nut. The assembly must be able to
rotate.
