VERSA BIKE RACK INSTRUCTIONS

Use of rack (cont.)

To lower the rack, grasp the release lever and the
front of the folding frame. Pull up on the folding
frame to allow movement of the pull pin. Activate
the release lever by pressing it to the left to lower
or raise the rack to the upright position.

6

To return the rack to the horizontal (to the ground)
position, push left to activate the release lever
and raise or lower the rack into position. The pin
at the end of the release lever should “click” into
place. Test the rack to be certain the pin has
activated. Failure to activate the pin could result
in a spontaneous lowering of the rack and
damage of the bike rack or loss of bikes.

7

When not carrying bikes, the wheel bails should
be stowed inboard and secured with the rubber
straps and the rack should be in the up position.

It is possible to pivot the bikes out of the rack and
avoid having to adjust the D-tubes with each use.
To remove the bikes lift the rear wheel up. Pivot
the bike frame toward your body and then lift the
front wheel from the wheel bail. Fold the wheel
bails inboard and use the bike straps to secure
the wheel bails to the rack frame when not carry-
ing bikes.
