Saving parameters

The representation of the results is changed with effect from the next analysis. When
the NucleoCounter is turned off, after changing the status, the display will read “Save
parameters?”, "ENTER: Save" and "ESC : Cancel" (

figure 14).

By pressing the Enter key <↵> the status will be saved and will be in effect next time
the NucleoCounter is switched on. Pressing Escape <Esc> will not save the status and
the instrument will use the previous settings next time it is switched on.

5.4.3

Setting Date (F200) and Time (F201)

The functions, F200 (“F + 2 + 0 + 0 +

set the time and the date, respectively. This feature is only used when a printer or a PC
is connected to the printer port. Please refer to Technical Note 001 (Part No. 994-0013)
with respect to setting and using the Time and Date features.

Reset Counter (F30)

The function, F30 (“F + 3 + 0 +

”), is used to reset the Counter. The Counter counts the

number of analysis performed by the instrument. This feature is only used when a
printer is connected to the instrument. Please refer to Technical Note 001 (Part No. 994-
0013) with respect using this feature.

LCD contrast (F220)

When typing “F + 2 + 2 + 0 +

” it is possible to adjust the contrast of the LCD display.

Use the “1

2” keys in order to increase or decrease the contrast of the LCD-display.

The default value is 4. Values in the range from 0-9 can be chosen. The display will be
updated with the current value, which is shown in the upper right hand corner of the
display.
