EMI. Exercise caution when using any of these items while operating your mobility vehicle and avoid
coming into close proximity of radio and TV stations.
WARNING! The addition of accessories or components to the electrically-powered mobility
vehicle can increase the susceptibility of the vehicle to EMI. Do not modify your power chair in any
way not authorized by Freerider.
WARNING! The electrically-powered mobility vehicle itself can disturb the performance of
other electrical devices located nearby, such as alarm systems.
NOTE: For further information on EMI/RFI, contact your Authorized Freerider Agent. If unintended
motion or brake release occurs, turn your power chair off as soon as it is safe to do so. Contact your
Authorized Freerider Agent to report the incident.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR POWER CHAIR
THE FR-168W POWER CHAIR
The FR-168W Power Chair has two main assemblies:
The seat assembly and the power base assembly. See figure 4. Typically, the seat assembly includes
the seat, armrests, and joystick. The power base external assembly includes body shroud, two drive
wheels, two rear caster wheels, two front anti-tip wheels, front rigging, and wiring harnesses. (See
figure 4).

The power base internal assembly includes two motor/gear box assemblies, batteries, breaker, main
