Step 17. Remove the jack, then tighten the upper
clamp bolts that were left loose in Step 13.
Step 18. Set lift off gap to about 1.5-3 mm and
secure it with the locking screw.

CAUTION: DO NOT REINSTALL THE SHIPPING BOLT
WHICH IS USED FOR ALIGNMENT ONLY. IF
REINSTALLED, IT WILL YIELD IMPROPER
WEIGHT READINGS.
Step 19. Use primer paint on the zinc-plated load
point assemblies and then a finish coat on
and around the welds to protect them from
iron oxide formation.
Step 20. Repeat the installation process for each of
the load point assemblies in the system.
Step 21. When finished the load point assembly
should look like the figure below.
