Display of the results can be grouped by Color or Individual (7). Thus, every data point will
be the average of the horizontal or vertical zones of one color, or of one vehicle Æ good
measure for process stability.

The “Define Filter” button (8) allows for selection of specific parameters like model, color or
paint line.

To start the analysis, click the "OK" button (9), the data are filtered from the database and
the results appear in the report.

The workbook contains an overview page and a page for details, an icon for each view is
located in the toolbar. A selection box for the colors to be displayed can be found in the
header of the “Details” page.


Additionally, two data table sheets are included with the numerical data of the overview
and details pages.

The scales to be displayed and their limit values can be set using the “Scales/Limits”
function from the Toolbar. The Limits for Wd and the B-value define the size and position
of the tolerance area in the Balance Chart (10).

The Wd limit additionally, defines the “Limit curve” in the Structure Spectrum (11). This
curve represents the Balanced Structure Spectrum corresponding to the specified Wd
value (note the red dots on the Wd value for both limit curves).

Another line (dotted), called “Target curve” is evaluated using the avarage of the individual
readings and shows the potential direction for improvement of the visual appearance.
