The top rack is designed for cups, giasses, and smaiier items.

Many items, up to 11" (28 cm), fit in the top rack. (See
recommended ioading patterns shown.)

NOTE:

The features on your dishwasher rack may vary from the

drawings shown.

Piace items so open ends face down for cieaning and
draining.

Load giasses in top rack oniy. The bottom rack is not
designed for giasses. Damage can occur.

Piace cups and giasses in the rows between tines. Piacing

them over the tines can iead to breakage and water spots.

China, crystai, and other deiicate items must not touch each
other during dishwasher operation. Damage may occur.

Load iightweight piastic items in the top rack oniy. Oniy
piastic items marked “dishwasher safe” are recommended.

Load piastic items so the force of the spray does not move

them during the cycie.

To avoid chipping, do not iet stemware touch other items.

Smaii bowis, pans, and other utensiis can be piaced in the
top rack. Load bowis in the center section for best stabiiity.

Utensil basket (on some models)

Use this extra capacity basket in the back of the top rack to hoid

spatuias, wooden spoons, and simiiar items.

Cup shelves (on some models)

Foid down the extra sheif on the ieft-hand or right-hand side of

the top rack to hoid additionai cups, stemware or iong items such
as utensiis and spatuias.

Deluxe adjustable 2-position top rack (on some models)

You can raise or iower the top rack to fit taii items in either the top
or bottom rack. Raise the top rack to accommodate items up to
9" (22 cm) in the top rack and 13" (33 cm) in the bottom rack, or

iower the top rack to accommodate items up to 11" (28 cm) in
both the top and bottom racks. Adjusters are iocated on each

side of the top rack.

To raise the top rack

Lift the rack on both sides untii the rack is ievei.

NOTE:

The top rack must be ievei.

To lower the top rack

Depress both tabs on rack adjusters, as shown above, and siide

the rack back to its originai position.
