TO CLEAN AGITATOR:

NOTE:

In order to keep cleaning efficiency

high and to prevent damage to your vacuum
cleaner, the agitator must be cleaned every
time the belt is chanaed-

The agitator must aiso be cleaned accord­
ing to the following schedule;

Vacuum Cleaner Use

HEAVY -

(used daily)

MODERATE -

(used 2-3 times/week)

LIGHT -

(used 1 time/week)

Clean Agitator

every week

every month

every 2 months

IMPORTANT

Disconnect vacuum cleaner from

electrical outlet.

Check and remove hair,

string and iint build-up frequently in the

Power-Mate® agitator and end cap areas.

Remove any dirt or debris in the belt path

area or in the brush roller area.

Carefully remove any string or debris
located on the agitator or end caps.

belt over
motor drive,

then over
belt pulley.

assembly back into

Power-Mate®,

cover and
base. Rest
cover on
front edge

4. NOTE:

On dirt sensor models be sure

that the board Is upright and the wires are
tucked back In place.

6. Turn Power-Mate upside down and
replace two (2) cover screws.
