information is availabie and may be benefi­
cial for various reasons. This information is

retained by the computer from the first time
eiectrical power is applied to the face plate.

face plate has had eiectricai power applied.

tions initiated by this face plate since the SR
code number was entered.

2. Press Seiect to advance to the foliowing

alternating displays.

This setting controls the length of the back­

wash cycle (regular recharge backwash, and
the CLEAN feature backwash if set to ON). A

ionger backws^h is beneficial if suppiy water
is dirty, or contains iron. The time is adjust­
able up to 5 minutes. Use the UP or DOWN

button to set

3. The next press of the SELECT button dis­

plays an AUTO RECHARGE screen.

For this model, the AUTO RECHARGE dis­
play must show. If anything other than AUTO

shows, press a UP or DOWN button until it
does show.

Press SELECT cxice again to display 12 hr, TIME.

At this setting, dispiay times are shown in

standard clock time, if set to 24 hr, using the

UP or DOWN button, dispiay times wiil be in
miiitary time, 0100 (1:00 AM) to 0000 (mid­
night).

5. Press the SELECT button and hoid 3 se­

conds until...

This code identifies the softener nominai capac­

ity size. If the wrong number shows, the softener

will operate on incorrect programming. Do the

foliowing as needed.

RETURN THE PRESENT TIME DISPLAY- press

the SELECT button.

CHANGE THE SR NUMBER - press the UP or

DOWN button to display correct numben press

SELECT, and reset the timer.

NOTE

If the face iXate is left in a diagnostic dispiay (or a flashing
display when setting times or hardness), present time
automatically returns if a button is not pres^ within 4
minutes.
