supply until the assembly is complete.
Failure to do so could result in
electrical shock or injury.
Before assembling the vacuum cleaner,
check the PACKING LIST on page 2. Use
this list to verify that you have received
all the components of your new Kenmore
vacuum cleaner.

CAUTION
Do not overtighten.
Overtightening could strip the screw
holes.
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner
without the screw in place.
1. Remove the handle
screw from the rear
of handle unit.
2. Remove and
discard cardboard.
3. Assemble the
handle as shown in
the illustration.
4. Using a Philips screwdriver, tighten
handle screw. NOTE: Do not overtighten.
5. Snap Pet Handi Mate™ into
Caddy/Retainer.
6. Snap Dusting Brush and Crevice Tool in
areas as shown.
