Oven Cooking Tips

OVENTEMBÈBÀTURE

ADJUSTMENT

You may tee! that your new oven
cooks differently than the oven it re­
placed. We rscommend that you
use your new oven a few weeks to
become more familiar with it, follow­
ing the times given in your recipes
as a guide. See Do It Yourself Tem­
perature Adjustment in the back of

this manual to make the adjustment if
you feel your oven is too hot or too
cool for your cooking preference.

Your oven control has a selector knob
for choosing

OVEN ON Indicator Ligiit —

turns on and stays on when bake,

broil, or dean function has been
chosen.

CLEAN Indicator Light

— turns

on for self-dean, if the

CLEAN

indicator Light flashes, you should

check for one of the following.

1. The door handle is latched during

a baking or broiling function;

2. The door handle is not latched

during a sell-dean function.

Your new range is equipped with a

hide-away-handle (used for self-clean

only) that can be hidden under the
maintop when it is in the unlocked
position.

Be sure the handle is in the
unlocked position and raise the
cooktop

Push the handle into the latch
cover until it stops.

Lower the cooktop.

Ne¥er latch the oven door
dyring baking or broiling.
