Repeating a desired part [A-B Repeat]

You can repeat playback of a desired part by

specifying the beginning (point A) and ending
(point B).

■ During playback

Press ON SCREEN twice.

part you want to repeat (point A).

The repeat mode indicator “Cf- A — ” appears on the display
window.

Press ENTER at the end of the part you

want to repeat (point B).

The repeat mode indicator on the display window changes to

A — B ” and A-B Repeat Playback starts.

7 Press ON SCREEN.

The on-screen bar disappears.

To cancel

Select “OFF” in step 4, then press ENTER.

NOTE______________

. When playing back a DVD VIDEO/DVD VR, A-B Repeat Playback is

possible only within the same title.

« “A-B” cannot be selected during Program and Random Playback.
« “A-B” cannot be selected during playback with PBC function.

Tray lock

You can lock the tray and prohibit unwanted disc ejection.

On the center unit ONLY:

While the system is turned off

Press and hold

• “LOCKED” appears on the display window.
• If you try to eject the disc, “LOCKED” appears to indicate that

the tray is locked.

To cancel

Carry out the same operation again.
• “UNLOCKED” appears on the display window.

Sound and other settings

IMPORTANT

Before using the remote control for the following
operation;

• Set the remote control mode selector to AUDIO.

NOTE

• Before you start operation; There is a time limit when

doing the following steps. If the setting is cancelled before you finish,
start from step 1 again.

7 Press SETTING.

Example:

. BAL. (Balance);

You can adjust the balance of the sound between “R (right) -

21” and “L (left) -21”. To set the balance to normal, select
“CNTR (center)”.

. MON. (Monitor Out):

Select the video output jack type by which you watch DVD
playback after connecting your TV. (See page 10.) Set the

video output to use AV COMPU LINK remote control

system. (See page 37.)

VIDEO:

To watch DVD playback via the VIDEO jack.

S:

To watch DVD playback via the S-VIDEO jack.

COMP (Component):

To watch DVD playback via the COMPONENT

VIDEO OUT jacks.

Press Cursor ►/◄ to make an

adjustment or selection.

Example:
