Important features in V2.0.1: Mini Strips and Moving Synths

One of the most convenient features of the Rack Mode interface is being able to see your various

plugins stacked on top of each other on the virtual rack. However, as you add more and more

plugins, the rack grows in size, requiring you to use the scroll bars to get to various plugins that

you have in the rack.

That's why we created "Mini-Strips". the special function that lets you shrink the size of any

channel into a bare-bones minimum of information. That way you can see many more plugins at

once.

Mini-strips are really easy to use. Simply cick on the top right hand corner box and the channel

you have selected will shrink into the Mini Strip view. To grow that channel back to size, simply

click on the shrink / expand box again.

The Mini-strips feature also works on a global basis... simply double click on the blank area below

the shrink/expand button and you will shrink all the channel strips in the rack at once. Want to

expand them all? Double click again and they all grow to normal size.

The min-strips view is designed to provide you with the essential info you need during a

performance, including teh name of the plugin, the playing range (depicted on the keyboard) the

name of the preset that is currently active in that particular plugin, plus the volume, pan, and VU

meters for that channel. You also have access to the MIDI filter in this view, as well as the ability

to SOLO that channel by clicking on the channel name (Synth 1, Synth 2, etc.)

Important features in V2.0.1: Back up and Restore

V2.0.1 software features full back up and restore so you can create a back updrive and save your

changes as desired to an external USB drive.

Backup and restore is a feature that is only available from the front panel, since it actually runs

at an extremely low level in the system, allowing you to create a back up boot drive to use as a

safety. The backup/restore feature lets you create a complete backup of your internal (MAIN)

drive, and if that drive were to ever go bad, you can boot off the backup by configuring the unit

to boot off of a USB drive. Some of the settings required to do this are somewhat tweaky, so we

encourage you to visit our YouTube channel to view how to perform backup and restore in a more

detailed manner than is possible in a manual such as this.
