For receiving timecode for show purposes, the use of TC Reader is recommended over Remote. You should run
TC Reader on each Mbox that needs to receive timecode and then connect the timecode signal to each Mbox
separately.

CAUTION!

The TC Reader application will display the perceived timecode variety at the top of the window. When

timecode is being received, a number in parentheses will be shown to the left of the Auto-Start checkbox. (See
sample screen below.) If this number is displayed in red and does not match the number shown at the top of the
window, then the incoming timecode is not formatted correctly. Mbox can compensate for 29.97 fps non-dropframe
timecode by enabling a preference in Mbox Remote. Refer to
