1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Suunto S6 Wristop Computer is a reliable high-precision electronic instrument that is
intended for recreational use.
NOTE: You should not use Suunto S6 to obtain measurements that require
professional or industrial precision or to obtain measurements when skydiving,
hang gliding, paragliding, gyrocopter riding or flying a small aircraft.
1.1. CHECKLIST
Make sure the package contains the following items:

Suunto S6
• Datasnake interface cable
• CD containing the Suunto Ski Manager software
• Suunto S6 User’s guide
Should any of these be missing from the package, contact the resale agent who sold
you the package.
1.2. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Care of the Suunto S6
Only perform the procedures described in this manual. Never attempt to disassemble
or service your Suunto S6. Protect it from shocks, extreme heat and prolonged
exposure to direct sunlight. Avoid rubbing your Suunto S6 against rough surfaces as
this may scratch the face. If not in use, store the Suunto S6 in a clean, dry environ-
ment at room temperature.
