Explanation of display symbols (Figure 1)

‘Service’ appears when service is required, may appear with a
diagnostic code

Printer symbol indicates that meter is ready to print account and
register information (see section 6.2)

‘Limit’ warns that postage is low

‘End’ indicates that meter is out of postage

Scale symbol illuminates when scale interface is activated

‘Cassette’ illuminates when thermal ribbon cassette should be replaced

10

‘R’, the register symbol, indicates register information being displayed

‘M’, the departmental account symbol, indicates account number in use

12

Sum indicator illuminates when displaying total postage used for each
departmental account

‘No’ illuminates when displaying number of pieces metered for each
departmental account
