Changing Vertical Navigation Gains
To enter the VNAV GAIN SETS selection, perform the following steps:
1. Enter the PREFERENCES SETTINGS menus as detailed previously and select the VNAV GAIN
SETS menu.
2. Press and release the H MODE button. The arrow will be placed at the ALT HOLD gain value.
To adjust this value, rotate the encoder to increase or decrease the displayed value, otherwise
continue with step 3.
3. Press and release the H MODE button. The arrow
will be placed at the VS (vertical speed) gain value.
To adjust this value, rotate the encoder to increase or
decrease the displayed value, otherwise continue with
step 4.
4. Press and release the H MODE button. The arrow
will be placed at the AS (Airspeed) gain value. To
adjust this value, rotate the encoder to increase or
decrease the displayed value, otherwise continue with
step 5.
5. Press and release the H MODE button.
The setup of the vertical navigation gains is complete and the encoder can now be used to select
another menu screen.
