Instructions for use for the standard equipment: PC 3012 NT VARIO

The customized product identified above is based on a standard product which

has been modified following the customer’s requirement for modification.

Therefore, certain features of the customized product are different from those

of the corresponding standard product. In general we do not have sufficient ex-

perience whether the modifications made meet the customer’s requirements.

It is the customers responsibility to check the suitability of the equipment for

the intended application prior to use.

The instructions for use of the standard product are enclosed.

It is the user‘s responsibility to check very carefully if specific information

given in the instructions for use can be applied to the customized product.

In particular, the following differences have to be considered:

Both chemistry pumping units PC 3012 NT VARIO are controlled by a single CVC 3000 vacuum control-

ler. The controller’s power supply is integrated into the pumping unit with CVC 3000 controller.

Startup:

Assemble the separator via small flange connection at the connection hose at the inlet.

Establish the VACUU•BUS connections. Connect both pumping units via their VACUU•BUS cables

to the controller.

Plug in the power cords of both pumping units and switch on both pumping units.

Switch on the CVC 3000 controller. Both pumping units will be controlled synchronously.

To avoid communication errors between the CVC 3000 controller and the VARIO pumping units, each

pumping unit has been assigned its own VACUU•BUS address.

Factory-set the pumping units are configured as follows:

Pumping unit with controller: VACUU•BUS address Vario 1

Pumping unit without controller: VACUU•BUS address Vario 2

Error messages:

If one pumping unit sends an error message to the CVC 3000 controller, the warning triangle and the

pump symbol will be flashing, no acoustic signal will be given. The second pumping unit will carry on

running unimpaired.

If both pumping units send an error message to the CVC 3000 controller, both pumping units will

stop. The warning triangle and the pump symbol will be flashing, an acoustic signal will be given (six

blips).
