1. Clean off the carburetor cover and the area
around it to Keep dirt and sawdust from fall*
ing into the carbu^tor chamber when the
cover is removed.
2. Remove thecarburetor cover screws and car*
buretor cover. Rgtjre36.
3. Pull out the air filter,
4. Wash the filter in soap and water.
NOTE: Be careful when replacing the car­
buretor cover as incorrect placement will
prevent the choKe frotn working properly.
9, Move the choke knob a« the vmy to the right,
to. Check the «wia shutter to be sure it is closed.

11. Reinstall the carburetor cover and tighten
the cartJUteter cover screvss.
12. Check aie operation of the choke.
NOTE If the choke knob sticks or will not
move, remove the cover and repeat steps
11 and 12 above. *

5. Squeejte the filter dry.
6. Add a small amount of oil to coat the filter.
NOTE Avoid soaking the filter with oil.

8. Replace filter by tucking in edges and
