1. Clean off the carburetor cover and the area

around it to Keep dirt and sawdust from fall*
ing into the carbu^tor chamber when the
cover is removed.

2. Remove thecarburetor cover screws and car*

buretor cover. Rgtjre36.

3. Pull out the air filter,
4. Wash the filter in soap and water.

NOTE: Be careful when replacing the car­
buretor cover as incorrect placement will

prevent the choKe frotn working properly.

6. Add a small amount of oil to coat the filter.

NOTE Avoid soaking the filter with oil.
