Place the saw on the ground and insert a foot in
the rear handle. Grasp the front handle firmly
with your left hand and hold the starter handle
in your right hand. Make sure that the chain
cannot cut into brushwood or the like when the
saw starts.
Ensure that the starter is engaged and give it a
short sharp tug. Do not release the starter handle
but allow it to pull your hand back to the saw.
Push the choke in as soon as the engine fires.
If the engine does not fire after three or four
attempts to start, the choke should be pushed in
as the engine will otherwise suck in too much
fuel and wet the plug.
Repeat the starting procedure without using the
choke.
When the engine starts move the throttle lever
back to release the starting throttle ratchet.

in den hinteren Griff stellen. Den vorderen Griff
mit der linken Hand fest fassen und den Anwerf­
griff in die rechte Hand nehmen. Darauf achten,
dass die Säge beim Anspringen des Motors nicht
Reisig oder andere Gegenstände streifen kann.
Kontrollieren, ob die Anwerfvorrichtung eingreift
und kurz am Seil ziehen. Den Anwerfgriff nicht
loslassen, während das Seil wieder aufgewickelt
wird.
Sobald der Motor anspringt, die Startklappe öff­
nen.
Wenn der Motor bei drei oder vier Startversuchen
nicht zündet, ist die Startklappe zu öffnen, sonst
erhält der Motor zuviel Kraftstoff.
Startversuch bei geöffneter Startklappe wieder­
holen.
Wenn der Motor anspringt, den Gashebel eindrük-
ken, so dass er von der Startgassperre losgelas­
sen wird.
Posez la tronçonneuse sur le sol et engagez un
pied dans la poignée arrière. Saisissez solidement
la poignée avant de la main gauche et la poignée
de lancement de la main droite.
Assurez-vous que la chaîne ne risque pas de
mordre dans des branchages ou tout autre objet
une fois la tronçonneuse en marche.
Vérifiez que le démarreur enclenche et tirez d'un
coup sec sur la cordelette de lancement. Lors du
retour de la poignée de lancement, accompagnez-
la de la main.
Dès que le moteur démarre, enfoncez la com­
mande du starter.
Si le moteur ne démarre pas au troisième ou
quatrième essai, enfoncez la commande du star­
ter, afin de ne pas noyer le moteur.
Essayez alors de nouveau de mettre le moteur
en marche, mais sans starter.
Lorsque le moteur démarre, appuyez sur la
commande des gaz, pour libérer le blocage dé­
marrage.
