Oil and Grease Locations

CAUTION: DO NOT touch engine or
Sno-Thro drive parts which are hot from
operation. Allow such parts to cool
before servicing unit.

IMPORTANT: Wipe each fitting clean before and

after lubrication,

NOTE: Use Ariens Multi-Purpose Grease (Part No.
000150) or good grade of general purpose grease at
zerk fittings and oil at lubrication points.

Sno-Thro should be lubricated at beginning of season
and every 25 operating hours. Grease and oiling
points are indicated below.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT allow grease or oil to get on
belt or friction wheel.

NOTE: To grease one auger shaft at a time, remove

shear bolt nut and shear bolt. Turn auger on shaft
while applying grease through zerk fitting. Replace
shear bolt per instructions in Shear Bolt

Replacement.
