2. When “FORMAT” is highlighted, press the RIGHT button to enter
“FORMAT” ( ) menu.
3. Use the RIGHT/LEFT button to select “YES” or “NO”.
4. Press the SET button to confirm your selection.
YES - Formats the memory card.
- This starts the FORMATTING operation.
- After the memory storage is formatted, the message “NO IM-
AGE” appears on the camera LCD screen in Playback ( )
mode.
NO - Cancels the formatting operation.
NOTE:
The data deleted by a format operation cannot be recovered. Make
sure that you do not need any data currently stored on a memory card
before you format it.
