IL MAINTENANCE-MONTHLY

NOTE: The oven interior may require cleaning more

than once a month depending on the volume of

baking. To clean the interior, you have todlsassemble

some parts of the oven.

When cleaning your Series S1820G Oven note the

following:

PRECAUTIONS-

1. Do not use excessive water or saturation of oven

insulation will occur.

2. Do not use a caustic oven cleaner or the aluminized
finger manifold surfaces will be severely damaged.

When cleaning your oven, first remove all heavy debris
with a vacuum cleaner. Use a damp cloth for light cleaning.

For heavier cleaning of baked on grease and carbon

deposits use a non-caustic cleaner that will not react with

the aluminized finger manifold surfaces.

You can order non-caustic cleaner from your local autho­
rized Blodgett Parts Distributor in the quantities listed
below;

A. Removing Conveyor From Oven For Cleaning

1. Remove entry and exit trays.

2. Loosen (do not remove) two screws on housing guard.

3. Remove motor housing guard.

4. Lift conveyor and remove chain.

5. Lift other side of conveyor and push toward other side.
