Taking Screen Captures

Taking Screen Captures

You can take captures of what is displayed on your screen, directly from
your unit. This could be useful for troubleshooting when you need another
person to have a look at a specific configuration or problem. You could also
use this tool for training purposes.

For more information on how to modify the default file format and
destination folder, see Setting Storage Parameters for Screen Captures on
page 70.

Images are saved using the defined file format. By default, images are
created in .jpg format, but you can modify this parameter.
By default, they are kept in the following folder:

\DATA\My Documents\Screenshots

It is possible to modify the folder in which images are automatically
saved.

By default, the application generates file names as follows:

IMG_<Selected_date_format>_<Selected_time_format>.jpg

where

Selected_date_format corresponds to the short date format defined in
the Configuration > Region and Language window.

Selected_time_format corresponds to the time format defined in the
Configuration > Region and Language window.
