CAUTION -
Always unplug or disconnect all appliances in the
terrarium from electricity supply before putting on or taking off
parts and while the equipment is being installed, maintained or
handled. When inserting or removing the appliance always pull
out the main electricity plug. Never yank cord to pull plug from
outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Always unplug an
appliance from an outlet when not in use.
5. Do not use an appliance for other than intended use. The use
of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
6. This heat cable is suitable for INDOOR use only. Do not install or
store the appliance where it will be exposed to the weather or to
temperatures below freezing.
7. Make sure that the heat cable is securely installed before
plugging into wall outlet.
8. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with proper rating
should be used. An extension cord rated for less amperes or
watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should
be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over
or pulled. The connection should be carried out by a qualified
electrical installer.
9. The power cord and plug on this unit is not replaceable. If
power cord or plug are damaged in any way the unit should be
discarded

WARNING
(for U.S.A. and Canada only): This appliance has
a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt
to defeat this safety feature.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the Exo Terra® Heat Cable from the package and inspect
for any damage to the cable or plug. (If any is noticed return to place
of purchase.)
THE HEAT CABLE CAN BE USED INSIDE OR OUTSIDE
(ie: UNDERNEATH) YOUR TERRARIUM.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – INSIDE TER-
RARIUM:
Starting from far end (from the plug) evenly wrap the Exo Terra®
Heat Cable around wood or resin decorative branches inside
terrarium.
Do not allow cable to cross itself as overheating could occur.
Maintain a minimum distance of 1 ¼” (3 cm) between the
