CLEANING AND DISINFECTING

Cleaning and disinfecting are two different processes. Cleaning must precede disinfecting.

Disassemble the Retroback before cleaning or disinfecting any of its components.
To clean the cover, machine wash in warm water (40˚ C). Air dry.
To disinfect the cover, hand wash in warm water using 1/2 cup liquid household bleach
per quart of water (125 ml bleach to 1 liter of water) solution and rinse thoroughly, or
machine wash in hot water (60˚ C). Air dry.
Follow safety guidelines on bleach container.
To clean the foam pad surface, wipe gently with a cloth dampened with mild soap and
water. Air dry. No heat.
To disinfect the foam pad surface, wipe gently with a cloth dampened with a household
cleaning disinfectant. Allow foam pad to dry thoroughly before inserting back into cover.
Notes:
DO NOT sterilize or autoclave the foam pad or cover.
DO NOT immerse the foam pad in water or liquids.
To clean the steel clip, wipe with a cloth dampened with a household cleaner.
To disinfect the steel clip, wipe with a cloth dampened with a household cleaning
disinfectant.
For multiple patient use, institutions

MUST clean and disinfect the product between

each patient use.

If you require a repair, you may return the product for assessment. Before

returning the product to ROHO, Inc., contact our Customer Support Department

at 1-800-851-3449 toll free in the

U.S.A. for a Return Authorization Number.

A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from ROHO, Inc. and a

completed Return Authorization Form must be included with your product when

returned. The Return Authorization Form can be obtained from our website at

www.therohogroup.com or by contacting Customer Support.

Outside the U.S.A.,

contact the nearest ROHO International distributor. See website for current

list of ROHO International distributors (www.therohogroup.com).

Be advised that a charge will be assessed for any service provided for a

product that does not qualify under the product’s warranty.

Failure to submit a Return Authorization Form may result in the product being

returned without evaluation or repair.

RETURN, REPAIR & CONTACT INFORMATION

When properly used and disposed, there are no known environmental hazards
associated with the components of the Retroback. Dispose of the product
and / or components in accordance with the applicable regulations in your
jurisdiction.
