3. Select the LUN number for the array and press Enter. The first number to appear in
the menu list is the suggested default LUN assignment.
NOTE: UNIX and Macintosh operating systems may require array LUNs to precede the
bridge LUN. Any array with a LUN higher than the bridge may not be recognized by
the system. Refer to section "Managing Controller LUNs" for further information.
4. Select the array type: RAID 0, RAID 3, RAID 4, RAID 5, RAID 50, Volume or Mirrored
(Figure 17). Refer to Table 5 for drive requirements for each RAID type.
If RAID 50 is selected as the RAID type, the Select RAID 50 Array Size screen displays
all possible configurations for the array and drive combinations. Select the desired
configuration and press Enter. Skip to Step 7.
For all other RAID types, the Number of Drives screen will display.
