5 Press or to highlight System Lock, then press
or to select On (To enable System Lock), or Off (to
disable System Lock).
6 Press or to highlight US (or Canada to set
controls for Canada), then press ENTER. The Ratings
screen opens.
7 Press or to highlight MPAA Ratings (or
Canadian English), then press or to highlight
the rating you want to block, then press ENTER.
-OR-
Press or to highlight TV Ratings (or Canadian
French), then press or , or to highlight the
rating you want to block, then press ENTER. That
rating and all other higher ratings are blocked. Lock
icons appear next to all locked ratings.
8 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press
EXIT to close the menu.
Ratings
Blocking unrated TV
Not all TV programs have a rating signal. You can block all
unrated programs from displaying on your TV.
To block unrated TV:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.
Note
If you want to set the US and Canada items, you must
set it to On.
