R M D I R ( R e M o v e D I R e c t o r y )
Internal
Purpose
Removes (deletes) a specified subdirectory.
Syntax
RMDIR [d:][path]subdir
or
RD [d:][path]subdir
Where subdir is the name of the subdirectory being deleted. Note that
RD may be used instead of the full "RMDIR."
Remarks
If no drive or path is specified, RMDIR looks for the specified subdir
one level below the current default directory.
If a drive or path is specified, everything specified must exist or ROM-
DOS displays an error message.
RMDIR does not remove a subdirectory unless it is empty. An error
message is displayed if you attempt to remove a subdirectory that still
has files or other subdirectories within it.
Examples
RD TOOLS
Removes the TOOLS subdirectory from the current directory, assuming
TOOLS is an empty directory.
