Configuration
Page Language

The configuration label prints using MPCL language.

NOTE: The Configuration Page Language value should

never be set to Off for all ports of the print
server. At least one port should allow a
configuration label to be printed as needed for
diagnostic/troubleshooting purposes.

Output Type

Select the appropriate port type baud rate or MonarchNet
setting of the port.

Bidirectional
Printer Status
Support

Bidirectional Printer Status Support enables the
Monarch print server to get printer status information.
The printer attached to the output port must support
bidirectional communication and PJL. Disable this
option if the printer attached does not support
bidirectional communication.

The SNMP options specify information necessary for an SNMP manager to
access the print server. The system variables are for user convenience and
are optional.

SNMP community names are used as passwords to Get and Set information
on the print server. The values should be changed for enhanced security.

OK and Cancel affect the entire dialog box, not just the

SNMP options. Do not choose OK until you've entered all

changes on this tab and other tabs. If you choose Cancel,

you lose all changes in every tab of this dialog box.
