– Do not insert or take out the plug to or from a socket with wet hands and do not pull
the power cord!
– The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar
workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities
providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
– Never use the toaster outdoors!
– Do not put any objects on the toaster.
– Do not use the toaster for other purposes (e.g. for drying textile products, footwear,
etc.) than those recommended by the producer.
– Before preparation, remove possible packages from food (e.g. paper, a PE bag, etc.).
– While preparation there is a risk of self-ignition of the prepared food. In the case of sudden
ignition, disconnect the appliance from power supply and extinguish the fire.
– Do not place the toaster on unstable, fragile and flammable surfaces (e.g. paper, glass,
paper and plastic, varnished wooden plates and various fabrics/cloths).
– Never leave the appliance unsupervised and check it during the whole time of
preparing meals! When handling the appliance, use the handle.
– Do not use the appliance for heating a room! It is not intended for outdoors use.
– Never immerse the appliance into water (even its parts)!
– After finishing work and before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it
from power supply by taking the power cord connector out of the electric socket.
– Use the appliance in the working position at places with no risk of turning over and in
sufficient distance from flammable objects (e.g. curtains, drapes, wood, etc.), heat
sources (e. g. heater, stove, etc.) and wet surfaces (e.g. sinks, wash-basins, etc.).
– Do not use the appliance in an environment saturated with explosive or flammable steams.
– It is not allowed to modify the surface of the appliance in any way (e.g. using
a selfadhesive wallpaper, foils, etc.)!
– Spontaneous ignition of prepared food may occur during grilling. Unplug the appliance
from the mains and put out the fire in case of sudden ignition.
– The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire and it must not
be sunk into water.Never put the power cord on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the
edge of a table or a work top. Plugging or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can result
in tilting over or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!
– To avoid injury (burning), do not move the appliance when it is hot!
– Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
– If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the
valid standards.
– The product is equipped with a safety fuse which protects it against overheating.
– The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire and it must not
be sunk into water.Make sure that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the
working table where children could reach it.
– The appliance is portable and it is equipped with a movable connector with a plug which
ensures double-pole disconnection from power supply.
– With regards to fire safety, the appliance complies with EN 60 335-2-6. Within the intention
of the standard, this appliance can be operated on a table or on a similar surface while
safe distance must be maintained from flammable materials of at least
500 mm in the direction of the main heat radiation and 100 mm in the other directions.
– Use only uncorrupted and proper extension power cords.
– Never use the appliance for any other purpose than for that described in these instructions
for use!
