After each frying

– We recommend filtering or straining lukewarm frying oil, pouring it in a suitable

container, closing the container and putting it in a fridge – thus you will prevent creation

of undesirable substances.

ATTENTION

Hot frying oil melts down a plastic bottle and there is a risk of injury!

!

Please consider the following cooking tips as examples and as inspiration. Their purpose is

not to be a guide, but to demonstrate the possibilities of various food preparation methods.

Generally, it is recommended to use lower temperatures for brittle foods (vegetables, fish)

and higher temperatures for frozen foods (French fries, chicken, etc.). Cooking times are in

the range of several minutes.

Removal of unpleasant smell

Some food (e. g. fish) can leave unpleasant smell in the frying oil. You can neutralize the

smell in the following way:

– Heat the frying oil to the temperature of 160 °C.

– Put several parsley sprouts or two bread slices in the frying oil,

– Wait till “bubbles” disappear, then take out the parsley or bread using a suitable tool.

The frying oil will now have neutral taste.

Filtration or replacement of oil

It is not necessary to replace the oil after every use. If you fry mainly potatoes and filter

the oil, it is possible to reuse it 8-10x. Do not use the same oil longer than 6 months.

To carry out the filtration or replacement proceed as follows:

– disconnect the deep fryer from the electricity grid

– pour the fully cooled oil out of the pot

B into another container with a suitable volume

capacity

– wash and thoroughly dry the pot

B

– pour the oil back through an appropriate filtration paper
